Whether you’re a fan of the team or just plain love their logo, you have many choices when it comes an LA Dodgers hat.  You can go with their official royal blue on field fittted hat or you can go with a dad hat you see pictured above.  The good news is that due to their popularity, many programs include an LA Dodgers hat in the lineup.  Can’t say that about more than 80% of the other teams in the league.  Besides the cool team colors and a big market, there’s a lot of history of winning, with 6 World Series titles and 21 pennants.

Dodgers Sales

When it comes to fan merchandise, the LA Dodgers hat has been one of the top sellers for hat brands year in, year out, consistently in the top 3.  People just can’t get enough of the interlocked LA logo.  Whether you’re a Dodgers fan or not, you can’t but admire their brand.  They have a classic all around look and they are in a huge market which spells out big dollars for the franchise.

As mentioned, you can get an LA Dodgers hat in a variety of silhouettes including fitted, snapback, dad hat, and beanie.  These days a lot of people are choosing the dad hat with the curved brim as seen in the above picture which is a stark contrast to the structured crowns and flat brims that we’re accustomed to.  Nevertheless, the show must go on.  Fashion is forever changing and these days it’s moving at a fast pace.  The dad hats or slouches are adjustable so you don’t need to worry about sizing, unless you have a tiny head or a really big head – then you’re out of the fitting range.

Types of Hats

There are still plenty of people that are choosing either snapbacks or fitted hats as their LA Dodgers hat.  It’s perfectly fine if you choose to not wear dad hats.  No one’s going to judge you for that snapback or fitted.  We’re fans of all of the different types of hats but maybe we’re a little biased.  You can’t go wrong with their royal blue on field with the white interlocked LA logo fitted.  You really can’t go wrong with a lot of setups.  We’re not going to sit here and make a list, maybe that’ll be for another blog some day.

Did you know that the Dodgers used to be called “The Robins?”  The name “Dodgers” comes from Brooklyn pedestrians dodging street cars in traffic.  The team changed its name in the 1930’s for those who want to know.  After the 1957 season, the team left Brooklyn and moved to Los Angeles.  Could Brooklyn have a baseball team again one day?  We’ll just have to wait and see.

The Selection

Over the years, we have released hundreds of LA Dodgers hats.  Obviously, if you look at the Dodgers category on our site, there aren’t nearly as many left in stock.  We plan on continuing to stock the different styles that the brands release in the coming future.  We hope the team doesn’t leave the city of Los Angeles or change its uniform, we think it’s a classic just like the Yankees and Red Sox uniforms just to name a couple.  The franchise has a great future ahead as it continues to build its worldwide fanbase.

The Fans

As for LA Dodgers hats, we hope the brands continue to innovate and change up the colorways every now and then to give people something to match with what they’re wearing.  That’s a very important point if they want to continue being relevant in the street, they need to be in tune with what people are wearing on their feet and bodies and design a program around that.  Like we mentioned before, LA Dodgers hats are loved by fans and people who don’t even watch sports.  Each have their own reason but the result is the same – an LA Dodgers hat acquired.  For decades now, the LA Dodgers hat has been a part of fashion.  We’ve seen artists like Ice Cube make it part of their signature look.

We’d love to hear from you.  What’s your favorite LA Dodgers hat?  Let us know what type you favor and whether you only wear team colors or you wear customs colors.  The more specific you are the better!
